BFF

[Triangle-person walks towards a Circle-person]

[Triangle-person asks the Circle-person for time]

[They walk together, deep in conversation, waving their arms expressively]

[Triangle-person is crying, and Circle-person is trying to comfort them]

[They are both holding up champagne glasses and raising a toast]

[Triangle-person walks towards the left, holding an arm on a small Triangle-person's shoulder, both smiling. Meanwhile the Circle-person walks towards the right, bouncing a football]

Best Friends For-now

I think all friendships are circumstantial, and I mean it in a non-negative way. Friendships are never forced, and so they rely on conditions coming together.

Sometimes the circumstances that bind people are big and hold for a long period of time. Sometimes they are small and hold for a very short time. Both are just as valid.

Trying to stop the changes can lead to disappointment and guilt. There is no way around it - we change and our relationships naturally ebb and flow.

Which is fine.
